Il devenait imp\u00e9rieux de pr\u00e9parer les \u00e9l\u00e8ves des classes de transition des \u00e9tablissements anglophones \u00e0 entrer sans heurt dans le second cycle.<br \/>\nA ce niveau, ils ont l&#8217;obligation d&#8217;\u00e9tudier des ouvrages d&#8217;\u00e9crivains fran\u00e7ais ou francophones. L&#8217;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 ces oeuvres compl\u00e8tes n&#8217;est pas toujours facile si on n&#8217;y est pas pr\u00e9par\u00e9. Il est d&#8217;autant plus difficile qu&#8217;on a affaire aux apprenants du fran\u00e7ais langue \u00e9trang\u00e8re.<br \/>\nIl a donc fallu combler ce besoin imp\u00e9rieux en concevant des fascicules en fran\u00e7ais facile qui am\u00e9nagent des passerelles entre le premier et le second cycles de l&#8217;enseignement secondaire.<br \/>\n\u00abLa Belle Eplor\u00e9e\u00bb, qui est propos\u00e9e en Form IV, est l&#8217;histoire d&#8217;une jeune Camerounaise qui, soumise aux Rites de veuvage apr\u00e8s la mort de son mari, endure des tortures \u00e0 la limite du supportable. Le livre \u00e9crit dans une langue simple pose de nombreux probl\u00e8mes individuels et sociaux. Les chapitres ne sont pas explicit\u00e9s pour des raisons m\u00e9thodologiques et p\u00e9dagogiques.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les m\u00eames raisons chaque chapitre est compl\u00e9t\u00e9 par une illustration, une image-situation qui doit servir de support au travail de r\u00e9flexion \u00e0 mener par les \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Si le besoin du travail scolaire domine dans le fascicule, il n&#8217;en reste pas moins que \u00abLa Belle Eplor\u00e9e\u00bb, en relatant une histoire authentique d&#8217;un enfant du terroir, offre
